Luzon Coffee Company is a farming initiative to increase the total production of high-quality and specialty grade coffees in the Philippine Archipelago. We do this through growing, picking, processing, and roasting coffee on-island at a high level of sustainability for the environment, farmers, and consumers. Our flagship coffee is rainforest grown and cared for by the indigienous people of Nueva Vizcaya at 1600 masl. It’s then transported as an Anoxic Honey Process coffee to our drying center in Antipolo, Rizal where it achieves ideal mosture levels and is dehulled. During the entire journey, the coffee is grown and processed with only organic methods and in fully organic sites.

Over the last 5 years, Luzon has been slowly iterating every harvest and improving our techniques, output and relationships with the local indigenous peoples with whom we farm the coffee. We’re proud to have developed a system that creates great coffees that are fully organic and rainforest/reforestation grown, while also addressing the day to day livelihood needs of the indigiounous people who live and own the mountains.

Luzon Coffee Company is a private initiative started in 2019. The organization aims to create a future for Philippine coffees farmed and processed to the highest specialty coffee standards. This effort is spearheaded by Kayo Cosio, co-founder of both Luzon Coffee Company and HoneycombArts, who is also an accomplished barista, first runner up in the Philippine National Brewers’ Cup, and founder of the BGC Coffee Festival.
